A friend just sent me this article. Neither of us had never heard of this version of history before this.
A People’s Revolution ended WWI but the global oligarchs don’t want you to know about it
https://expose-news.com/2023/01/02/a-peoples-revolution-ended-wwi/
Here are some raw preliminary thoughts for possible discussion…
This is new to me. I don’t know what to think of it. Some questions come to mind… What do you think of it? Is this true to an extent and, if so, to what extent? Why is this appearing now? If some of all of it is true, why was it excluded from the common history? Could this be used to strategic advantage in today’s world?
The goal of this Solutions Seeking Substack think tank is essentially to seed respectful open minded dialogue on questions like what was posed above, or whatever you think might be relevant and useful for deriving real solutions. I will try to do my best to act as a facilitator but have resolved to never lead or follow in what remains of my life.
In the future I hope to provide periodic summaries of what are hopefully relevant internet resources for our consideration. My hope is that your will do this in the comments as well.
Thank you.
Wow. Thanks for letting me know. I put it out there once, waited a minute, it was not there, so I thought I did something wrong and put it out again. Next time I will give it longer, maybe 5 minutes. I am so tired.
Thanks. I read "A People’s Revolution ended WWI," on your cue. Also watched the CommonSpace video embedded there.
The video sums up pointedly: "Those ordinary soldiers and workers who ended the war by turning on their own governments are forgotten – because their actions represent the danger to the powerful today."
I cannot vouch for the source, linked below, but when I read these two mini-tomes, last August, it got me thinking about just the sort of questions you and the article that you linked are raising:

Those links come from this page, which seems to have been rearranged since I previously visited: http://mileswmathis.com/bestfake.html
This Miles person places the blame for the wars on controlling, corrupt industrialists, who persist in trying to engineer society to suit their own aims. Rings true to me, for what that's worth.
Of course, the so-called victors always write the history we are taught. And they can't even get a lot of the basics right. So, in my mind, the question of what to believe really is still fairly open, when it comes to the history that so many take for granted.
